Holiday parks in Breskens
Breskens lies at the mouth of the Westerschelde, on the northern tip of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. It is a fishing town with a working harbour, and that sets it apart from the seaside resorts further along the coast.

The choice is narrow but varied: apartments and penthouses by the harbour, cube-shaped houses on a park behind the dunes, and a family park with a swimming pool. Everything sleeps two to six, so large groups will need to look elsewhere. The three parks come from three different providers.
The beach at Breskens looks out over the shipping lane to Antwerp, so seagoing vessels pass continually. Vlissingen lies opposite, and the ferry there leaves from the harbour, taking cyclists and pedestrians. Next to the town lies Waterdunen, a new nature area where salt water has been let in and walking paths run through.
The lighthouse stands by the beach, and on the quay is the fisheries museum, which tells the story of a trade that has largely gone from here: the fish auction of 1935 closed in 2021 and the shrimp trade moved to Vlissingen. On the grain silo by the harbour is a mural thirty-eight metres high. Seals often haul out at low tide on the Hooge Platen sandbank in the Westerschelde.
Zeeuws-Vlaanderen gets more sunshine than anywhere else in the Netherlands. May and June are quiet; July and August are busy but less so than the Zeeland islands. Autumn suits walks through Waterdunen, when the bird migration gets going.
Parkzie compares holiday parks in the Netherlands and is run by Mave Media in Marum. Park data comes straight from the providers' feeds and is refreshed daily. The texts are written by hand.
You book with the provider directly, with no booking fees. If something is wrong or a park is missing, let us know.
