Zeebad

Zeebad is a coastal holiday park in Breskens, in the southwestern corner of Zeeland. The park sits close to the sea, with beach access available regardless of where on the grounds a guest is staying.

Breskens itself is a fishing village with a working harbour and a marina, where several waterside restaurants serve fresh fish. The nature reserve Waterdunen lies nearby and is a notable spot for birdwatching, with a range of species present throughout the year. The Vuurtoren Nieuwe Sluis, a lighthouse in the area, offers views across the Westerschelde estuary, and boat trips on the Westerschelde give visitors a chance to spot seals. Beach pavilions on the seaward side of the dyke provide an informal place to eat and drink at the end of the day.

Getting to Breskens

Breskens is located in the far southwest of Zeeland, close to the Belgian border. The cities of Bruges and Knokke in Belgium are reachable for a day trip, and Middelburg is the main city within the Dutch province.
