Veluwelodge XL (6 persons)

Veluwelodge XL is a holiday lodge on the Veluwe, sleeping up to six people and set within Recreatiepark De Boshoek near Voorthuizen. The park is geared toward families, with a wide range of activities available for children and adults alike.

Children have plenty to keep them busy throughout the day. Several play areas are spread across the park, ranging from smaller setups for young children to larger installations. Two interactive play elements stand out: the "Sutu" football wall, which uses light and sound effects to make solo play engaging, and the "Sona" sound floor, a large interactive play surface that can accommodate many children at once with regularly updated games. During school holidays, a Kidsclub runs for children aged 3 to 12, staffed by trained entertainers who organise activities throughout the day.

The park also has an activity forest with beach volleyball, a fire pit, and a horse meadow. When the weather turns, there is a covered swimming pool and a bowling cave to fall back on. These indoor options mean a rainy day does not have to disrupt your stay.

The Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' most wooded regions, and the park's surroundings reflect that, with forested landscapes close at hand for walking and cycling. The lodge itself accommodates six, making it a practical choice for families or two couples travelling together who want a base with on-site entertainment and easy access to the wider Veluwe area.
