This holiday home for up to eight guests sits within Parc Maasresidence Thorn, a resort in Midden-Limburg, a short walk from the charming white-painted town of Thorn. The park centres around the MRT Promenade building, where you find the reception desk, restaurant Humphrey's Thorn serving breakfast, lunch and dinner both inside and on the terrace, a shop and bakery, a kids club, an F1 race centre and a bowling alley.

Just across from the Promenade is the MRT Pool, with a large swimming pool, a children's pool, a bubble bath and a long water slide. Seating around the pool lets you keep an eye on younger guests while you relax. The MRT Harbor is open to park guests for mooring your own boat or renting one from the park, and from there you can cross the blue bridge to the MRT Beach Club, a private beach with a beach bar, swimming, paddling, surfing, SUP boarding and e-foiling. The park sits within the Maasplassen, the largest continuous water recreation area in the Netherlands, so water-based activities are right on your doorstep.

The town of Thorn itself, known for its whitewashed buildings, is within walking distance and worth an afternoon on its own. This accommodation suits families or groups of up to eight who want a base with plenty of on-site activity alongside easy access to both the water and a historic Dutch town.
