Kids Special 8p is a holiday home for eight guests at Parc Maasresidence Thorn, a resort set alongside the Maasplassen - the largest connected water recreation area in the Netherlands - within walking distance of the white-walled town of Thorn in Midden-Limburg.

The resort centers around the MRT Promenade, a building that houses the reception desk, a shop and bakery, an F1 race center, and a bowling alley. Restaurant Humphrey's Thorn serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, with seating both inside and on the terrace. A dedicated kids club called Happy Benny Kids Club is also based in the same building, which makes it a natural hub for families throughout the day.

Directly opposite the MRT Promenade, the MRT Pool has a large main pool, a children's pool, a bubble bath, and a long water slide, with plenty of seating around the pool edge. The MRT Harbor gives guests access to moor their own boats or rent one from the park, and from there you can cross the blue bridge to the MRT Beach Club, a private beach where swimming, paddling, surfing, SUP boarding, and e-foiling are all on offer.
