One site lists a holiday home from €199, another lists the same home from €486. Neither is lying. They are counting a different number of nights, and almost no site says which. We collect the booking data of nearly three thousand houses from twenty-one providers every day. Of those twenty-one, one states exactly what the amount covers and one states a lower bound. The other nineteen say nothing at all.

What the booking data actually says
Every provider sends us their range as a data file. It contains an amount per house. What it does not contain, for almost all of them, is the period that amount belongs to. The table below is therefore not a price comparison but an inventory of what we know and what we do not.
| Provider | Houses | With a price | Average amount | What the amount covers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Landal | 919 | 0 | – | no price |
| EuroParcs | 782 | 782 | €425 | 2 or 4 nights |
| TopParken | 288 | 288 | €447 | not stated |
| RCN | 213 | 213 | €207 | not stated |
| Bungalow.Net | 166 | 150 | €1,105 | not stated |
| Dormio | 137 | 137 | €695 | at least 3 nights |
You cannot compare these amounts with each other, and that is exactly the point. Only for the sources with a period in the last column do we know what the amount covers. For the rest there is an amount, without the feed saying whether it is two nights or a week.
That table comes live from our database, so it moves with the feeds. The amounts in the rest of this article were measured on 10 October 2026.
€1,105 next to €206 is not a price difference
Take the two extremes from the table. Bungalow.Net averages a good five times the amount RCN does. That is not a holiday home five times as expensive. With Bungalow.Net the order of magnitude suggests the amount covers about a week, and with RCN more like a couple of nights, but neither file says so. We cannot establish it, which is why the last column says "not stated" rather than a guess.
Dividing two amounts without a unit gives you no ratio, only an illusion.
With EuroParcs it can be done, because that provider sends the period along with each house. The large majority of those amounts belong to two nights, a smaller part to four. Dormio says it is at least three nights, which is a floor and not a number. Out of nearly three thousand houses, those are the only ones within which arithmetic is allowed.
How this makes a whole region look expensive
This is not a theoretical problem. Work out the average price per region on the raw amounts and Zeeland comes to about €635 against €288 for Utrecht. Zeeland looks more than twice as expensive.
Then look at who supplies that range. In Zeeland most of the amounts come from Dormio and Bungalow.Net, the two providers with the longest periods. In Utrecht neither has a single house; there the range comes from RCN and EuroParcs, with the shortest periods. So what you are measuring is not Zeeland against Utrecht, but Dormio against RCN.
Compare within EuroParcs alone, the only provider whose period we know and which operates in both regions, and a night in Zeeland costs €184 on average against €179 in Utrecht. Three percent. Nothing is left of the factor of two.
What you can say
Within a single provider, arithmetic is fine. Do it per night with EuroParcs and the Veluwe is the most expensive region at €232 on average, with Drenthe the cheapest at €137. In between sit Limburg at €208, Noord-Brabant at €197, Zuid-Holland at €196 and Noord-Holland at €195.
Note what those figures are and are not. It is one provider, so it says something about what that provider charges in that region, not about the region as a whole. It is the lowest price per house, not what you pay in the school summer holidays. And the number of houses per region varies a lot: over two hundred on the Veluwe, sixteen in Drenthe. I would not treat that last figure as settled.
Why there is no price in our comparison
This is why you will not find a column of amounts on Parkzie that you can sort by. We could fill one, because the amounts are in our database. We could sort by it too. But then the cheapest house would sit at the top because its provider counts in two nights, not because it is cheap.
What we do instead is show, per park, what we can establish. The occupancy, the number of different houses, the distance to the beach, whether the dog is allowed. And for the price we send you straight to the provider, where the amount sits next to your dates and your number of nights. Parkzie charges no booking fees and sells nothing itself.
How to compare two prices yourself
Three things that work. Convert everything to an amount per night before you put two prices side by side. Compare the same arrival date and the same number of nights, because "from" is almost always the quietest week of the year. And look on the booking page for final cleaning, tourist tax and bed linen: whether those are inside the quoted amount differs by provider, and that is something we cannot read from the data.
Where to look next
Start with the region or the park, not with an amount. All holiday parks in the Netherlands are in the overview, and if you are still weighing up regions, which region suits you will help. If you book directly with the provider, also read what that has meant for the price since late 2024.
