Holiday home - Oosterpark 77 Oostkapell

This bungalow sits in the village of Oostkapelle on the island of Walcheren in Zeeland, about one kilometre from the coast. The surrounding area brings together sea, sandy beaches, woodland and dunes, making it a good base if you want to spend time outdoors without travelling far. The bungalow looks out onto a small playground, so there is something nearby to keep younger guests occupied.

Inside, the layout is straightforward and simply furnished, with south-facing windows that let in a good amount of natural light throughout the day. The bright interior gives the place a warm feel without anything fussy or overdone. The property sleeps up to four adults and two children, and pets are welcome - you can bring up to two animals along with you.

Oostkapelle itself is a quiet Zeeland village with the kind of easy pace that makes it well suited to a relaxed stay. From here you can reach the dunes and beach on foot or by bike, and the mix of nature around Walcheren means you have plenty to fill the days if you enjoy walking or cycling. The village also has local shops and amenities within reach, so you are not entirely dependent on a car.

This bungalow works well for a small family or two couples looking for a calm coastal break in Zeeland, particularly if they want easy access to the beach and green surroundings without the bustle of a larger resort.
