This holiday apartment in Zeeland sits on the edge of the dunes, on a small campsite just outside Vrouwenpolder. The North Sea beach is a ten-minute walk away, making it easy to head out for a swim or a walk along the shore whenever you feel like it. The apartment has a spacious garden around it, giving you room to sit outside and take in the quiet surroundings.

The campsite itself has a playground for children and a farm shop selling fresh local produce, bread, and seasonal fruit. The shop runs from April through October, so if you visit during that period you can pick up supplies without going far. The dunes and beach are around 800 metres from the door, meaning the outdoors is always close at hand, and the village of Vrouwenpolder is just one kilometre away if you need shops, a cafe, or a meal out.

The apartment faces meadows, so mornings on the terrace are calm and unhurried. Vrouwenpolder is a small, quiet village on Walcheren, one of the peninsulas that make up the Zeeland coast. The area is known for its wide beaches, cycling routes through the dunes, and the relatively sheltered waters of the Veerse Meer nearby. There is enough to keep you busy, but the pace here is slow and the setting lends itself to doing very little. This suits couples or families with younger children who want a relaxed base near the beach without being in a busy resort.
