Houtlodge (18 persons)

Houtlodge is a large group holiday home on the Veluwe, set within a forested area and located on Recreatiepark De Boshoek near Voorthuizen. The lodge sleeps 18 people, making it one of the bigger self-contained accommodations on the park. Guests have access to all park facilities during their stay.

De Boshoek is a family-oriented holiday park with a wide range of on-site activities. There are several playgrounds spread across the grounds, along with interactive play elements including the "Sutu" football wall, which uses light and sound effects, and "Sona", an interactive play floor that supports multiple players at once. The activity area includes beach volleyball, a fire pit, and a horse meadow. During school holidays, an animation team runs a programme for children aged 3 to 12 through the on-site Kidsclub.

When the weather turns, the park has an indoor swimming pool and a bowling cave to keep everyone entertained. Outside, the forest setting gives the surroundings a calm, natural feel that contrasts well with the busier social areas of the park.

This lodge suits large families, groups of friends, or multi-family bookings who want to share a single accommodation while still having plenty of space and shared park facilities close at hand. If you are travelling with children of different ages, the variety of activities on the grounds means there is something for each age group throughout the day.
