Holiday home (4 persons) - Berkhout

Park Westerkogge is a holiday home for four people in Noord-Holland, set in the village of Berkhout close to the historic town of Hoorn and the Markermeer. The park sits among meadows and waterways that run throughout the grounds, giving it a calm, open feel typical of the North Holland countryside. Some of the holiday homes are positioned directly on the water, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the surroundings.

The park has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a bread roll delivery service, and free WiFi. If you want to get out on the water, you can rent SUP boards, small motorboats, and pedal boats on site. Bicycles are also available to hire, making it easy to get around the flat surrounding landscape at your own pace. Fishing is possible within the park, and a BBQ service means you can cook outdoors without having to bring your own equipment. For families, there are playgrounds and a football pitch. A launderette is available on site for longer stays.

Berkhout itself is a quiet village, and Hoorn - with its well-preserved harbour and historic centre - is nearby for a day out. The Markermeer is within easy reach for those who want to spend time on or near open water.

This suits couples or small families looking for a quiet base in North Holland, with enough on-site activity to keep everyone occupied without having to travel far.
