Wilbrink chalet sits within Recreatiepark De Boshoek on the Veluwe, set in forested surroundings and suited to families with children of all ages. The park has a wide range of on-site facilities, so there is plenty to keep younger guests busy whatever the weather brings.

For outdoor activity, the park has several playgrounds spread across the grounds, an interactive football wall called "Sutu" that uses light and sound effects to make solo play engaging, and a sound-based play floor called "Sona" that accommodates multiple children at once with regularly updated games. An activity area includes beach volleyball, a fire pit, and a horse meadow. During school holidays, a professional animation team runs a Kidsclub for children aged 3 to 12, organising activities and entertainment throughout the day.
