This holiday home for up to eight people sits within Parc Maasresidence Thorn, a resort in Midden-Limburg within walking distance of Thorn, the small whitewashed town known for its historic centre. The park sits in the middle of the Maasplassen, the largest connected water recreation area in the Netherlands, so water-based activities are central to a stay here.

The resort's MRT Promenade building is the hub of the park and houses the reception desk, where staff can help arrange sloep rentals and walking routes. Restaurant Humphrey's Thorn is in the same building, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner both inside and on the terrace. Also under one roof you find a shop and bakery, a kids club, an F1 race centre, and a bowling lane.

Across from the MRT Promenade is the MRT Pool, which includes a main pool, a children's pool, a bubble bath, and a long water slide, with seating around the edge. The MRT Harbor gives park guests a place to moor their own boat or pick up a rental from the park. From the harbour you can cross a blue bridge to the MRT Beach Club, a private beach with a bar and options for swimming, paddling, surfing, SUP boarding, and e-foiling.
